IT IS OUT. I figured this may be a controversial topic. I’d like share a bit about as to why I wrote this - everyone struggles with something, regardless of who you are, and I was saddened by some of the so called Christians around me who judged from a distance, at the flaws of a sinner, like me. I let my insecurity of the fear of judgment shut me down for awhile - “who’s gonna listen to a sinner anyways?” “She’s so fake.” “Who does she think she is?” I always strive to practice what I preach, but I frequently fail. I always pray that my messages are clear that I’m struggling alongside yah - I just like to talk about it, because I feel like I have things the Lord wants me to share. I thought I was the only one for a period of time who questioned if they were really a “good” Christian... come to find out, I’m surrounded by brothers and sisters just like me. I want to encourage y’all out there - if you are in a rocky place with the Lord - smile big and keep seeking him anyways... if anyone judges you for not having it all together, that’s alright. Remember, Jesus often picked the strugglers, the lowliest, and the troubled to do great things in life. Let him use your weaknesses to show of his strength. Use your testimony. If you are seeking and following him - you are the “Good Christian.” I had too much fun writing this and putting it together - I hope you enjoy it too!
