If one child or youth is in an Adventist Christian school for one year it can make an eternity of difference. The educational goal of the Indiana Conference is to provide the most opportunities for the largest number of Seventh-day Adventist Christian young people to be a part of an Adventist Christian School. Further, children and youth of all faiths who would like to experience a Christian faith-based education are welcome to apply and when accepted by a local school to enroll. Each school is an evangelistic center where teachers lead their students to Jesus and prepare them for a life of serving Jesus, our Savior and coming King. The “Adventist Educational Advantage” is a Bible-based curriculum that emphasizes Creation, focuses on Salvation, and prepares students for service. The curriculum based on the Scriptures is established around educational developmental research. It includes caring, dedicated, and highly qualified certified Seventh-day Adventist Christian teachers. This advantage provides for small classes with an excellent teacher – student ratio that includes individualized attention for each student. There is an emphasis on healthy living and relying on God through prayer and a connection with Him. Students are involved in service projects giving back to communities. Adventist Schools provide a nurturing and safe environment for students of all ages to learn
and grow.

Adventist schools teach well-researched curriculum authorized by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. The textbooks are chosen because of their uniqueness in promoting the highest academic standards while instilling Biblical principles. Practical application for life is the goal for each subject. Teachers individualize their instruction recognizing the unique God-given abilities of each student. Individual schools are accredited by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists through the National Council for Private Schools and Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. Students with Indiana Choice Scholarships are accepted at most of the schools. Adventist schools are where students receive a Christ-centered; Creation based Education emphasizing an education for the whole person.
